Winter doesn’t want this one.

No one does.

No one to care if he rips out this one’s insides piece by piece and decorates the trees with them.

[Evan raised an eyebrow as he continued to struggle against the hold the thing had on his hands. Shit. I have fucking underestimated every goddamn thing involved with her lately] No… [He lets a hint of his arrogance come back and painfully wrenches his hands away from whatever it was that had him] She only says that she doesn’t want me. She’s just confused. It happens a lot with her. An’ plenty of people want me. You don’t think I’d just leave the states and not let anyone know where I was? I don’t come back and it’s her that’ll get in trouble. [Laughing scornfully] You don’t want that, do you Freak?

[It considers this for a few moments.]

Abomination. Freak implies that he is different, that he is unusual, that he is odd. That he is a sideshow act and nothing more.

He is so much more than that.

And he knows this one is wrong. When they find this one in pieces, filled with gaping holes made by not-human teeth, they will say it was wolves. They will know it was not, but they will be too scared to think about the truth.
